In addition to advancing knowledge, the KKH Respiratory and Allergy Symposium 2023 aims to facilitate collaboration between community practitioners and paediatricians.

During the panel discussion, our experts will discuss questions submitted by the delegates, relating to respiratory/sleep/allergy diseases in children.

The Basic Skills in the Management of Paediatric Asthma and Allergy Workshop for GP Clinic Assistants aims to equip GP clinic assistants with basic knowledge about asthma and allergy in children, including the appropriate use of various inhaler devices.

At the end of the course, participants should be able to:

1. Understand basic concepts of asthma and allergy.

2. Recognise an asthma attack and know how to provide asthma first aid.

3. Teach children with asthma the correct inhaler technique, and assess their inhaler technique and adherence to medication.

Symposium: CME and SNB-CPE points will be awarded.

Workshop: SNB-CPE points will be awarded.
